Road Trip Meeting 5-16-09

RK needs to send list of materials to Ben.
Someone talking to the mayor or Deval Patrick about spreading the word?

-Ben’s parents worried about so much driving. Talk about someone else getting invited to help drive.
-Ben is making a budget this week.

-we tailor it to your audience
-time of day up to you
-make it sound big/like a movement

RK is doing a speech for chem class this week:
-want feedback, trying out something new that is like a Hunger Banquet

For the Speech/Workshop thing on the Trip:
-talk about how to do stuff b/c empowers them
-have them COMMIT to stuff before they leave
-find out what they are specifically interested in so laminator can send mail packages from home to be received a few days after the event
-follow-up 500x more important than the event itself
-make this look like a community movement, which it is (they want to be PART of something)

Practice Events: June 11th and 12th (more info on main blog)
We film it, we kick off the road trip, speaking places understand how cool the trip is, we get people to follow us via Facebook/our blog/Twitter, and we experiment with what works

Goal = 20 people per house party
